Title: Frequencies requested
Post by: Barnsley Spotter on November 06, 2014, 07:53:16 PM
Gentlemen,

I am wondering if there is any kind soul on here that can help me.

I live in the Barnsley area and am looking for atc frequencies to listen in too military and civil.

If there is anyone that can point me in the right direction I would be much obliged.

Had to look up where Barnsley was   :)

Looks like my post in the one under yours is still applicable:

QuoteThis might help you get started:

http://www.jethros.org.uk/scanner/atc_airways.htm

128.125 is for high level E and W over the Wash
133.705 high level W after 128.125
133.80 is mid level over Manchester, eg descending to Leeds, climbing out of Manchester, coming in to Manchester

Listen on those and follow anything relevant to get more.

No idea about military freqs.

Ian,

Thank you for that info, I shall get the scanner out and program them in.

Sorry for the late reply, was a tad busy at work today.
