Post by: mhm on March 29, 2012, 04:32:27 PM

Union members backed industrial action with a three-day strike called from Good Friday to Easter Day, but more could avert action, the GMB union said

The 150 baggage handlers employed by Swissport at Stansted claim shift changes could cut pay by up to £1,000.

Everyone using Stansted has carry on baggage.  They can't afford to put it in the hold.  ;D

My wife can afford it. She's bringing some of my cherished belongings over. Luckily she is booked for Thursday outward and Tuesday return.

Trust the bloody minded union bosses to call a strike at holiday time. Obviously the baggage handlers are not able to thieve as much as they used to.
