Title: Taking DVB-T to Bali
Post by: BravoCharlie92 on April 03, 2015, 06:33:41 AM
Hi,

I will be going to Bali for several days and was planning on taking my laptop and DVB-T for if I want to do a bit of planespotting.

I was telling someone this and they started saying its not a good idea so I decided to post this to ask if anyone has taken it and if so, did you have any issues?

Thanks for any replies.

Be wary of plane spotting in foreign countries.

Holding a british passport does not make you immune to local laws. Plane spotting in the UK is tolerated, this is not always the case elsewhere as this link proves. http://www.bangaloreaviation.com/2010/02/british-plane-spotters-arrested-in.html
You may also have your equipment confiscated.

Its your choice, can you afford to loose it. Be prepared for the unexpected.

But other than that enjoy your holiday.
