Hey,
i`m looking for away to use this map https://milais.org/gmaps.php into PlanePlotter, VRS or ModesMixer2/ModesDeco2. Do you have any idea if this is possible?
The map shows the Temporary Reserved Airspaces here in Germany.
Thanks in advance.
Best regards,
Peter
Yes you can use any map if you first create an image of the map you want to use and then calibrate it.
Go to PP Help and search for Chart. Follow the instructions:
Charts
To use a chart or map as the base for the graphic display in PlanePlotter, it must be in the correct format and it must also be calibrated so that the software correctly associates chart pixels with geographical coordinates.
PlanePlotter uses charts in the familiar BMP or JPEG formats. PlanePlotter can also download satellite images if you are connected to the Internet. The satellite images are self calibrating but the BMP or JPEG images must be calibrated by the user following the simple instructions below.

Why Mapping on Planeplotter when we have the GPS Position. :P
The new Planeplotter support MLAT who is (in theorie) Possible to track Mil Aicraft.
If someone explaine how i can get GPS Points on the Map its easy to get into Virtual Radar Server. 8)
