Title: Ethernet Setup
Post by: Barnsley Spotter on August 10, 2015, 03:42:28 PM
I am looking to set up an ethernet connection.

having read the associated material in the manual I am still a tad confused.

Do I connect the SBS-3 to the Router or the computer?

I want to use it over a wifi connection, if it is plug directly into the router would I be able to access it over the local network that my router serves, i.e. my house?

I know about powering the unit with its own power source.

I hope someone can clarify these answers for me.

Regards

Ian

You can connect the SBS-3 by Ethernet cable to a router or WiFi extender (amongst other options).

Once attached, you can run BaseStation on any computer that can access your local network to which the SBS-3 is connected.
