I posted the following on the Kinetic site, Anmer has asked me to post it on here has well. Don't run Basestation while carring out these changes,
"I have a large number of manually entered local routes in my reference.sqb, fewer and fewer have been showing up in Basestation.
I have tried doing the following,
Copy and save the reference.sqb file
Run AD - Routes - Export routes save to a location and a name you will remember
Run notepad open your exported route file, you will see all the data in csv format,
Try edit - Replace -Find What 2014 (or 2013) - Replace with 2015
All the 2014 dates have now changed to 2015 without disturbing anything else.
Run AD - Routes - Empty routes - Append Routes with your modified csv file.
and hopefully AD will use your routes again, has theyre now mostly less than 12 months old.
I have not tried changing the complete date only the year, If anyone wants to try changing the complete date please let me know if it works.
If this doesn't work for you then revert to your saved reference.sqb
I have now found that the date in the appended datebase have been set to the date the file was appended, so no need to change dates or anything. Just export the route file, empty the routes and append the exported csv file and you have a brand new database with the current date.
ALWAYS, ALWAYS BACK FILES UP BEFORE CHANGING ANYTHING."
after a period of 365 days ???, AD basically checks whether the route is still correct, has this lookup is no longer happening then the old routes are no longer shown. By changing the date of all the records then AD will not exclude them.

Thank you for posting this, I was pulling my hair out trying to figure out what I had done to cause the routes to stop displaying :)
