Hi Chaps

Having a small problem with PP in so far as the basic system is working fine but when i press the help bar and then press test networking and then check sharing status nothing happens.
I am running the same system on a laptop but via a wirless link to the same BT router and this works fine.

Any help much appreciated

Do you have only one monitor?  Maybe the popup page is displaying off your main screen?

Also check the browser task bar icon, it my show the screen minimised?

Sorry, I think I misunderstood what you're experiencing.

When you say "nothing happens", do you see the COAA website page open?

No nothing opens so to recap

PP working with no problems on main machine
but when clicking on test networking and then choosing any of the options nothing happens.
i have a lap top with PP on which is working ok i have cross checked that the same files are on each machine and they are both machines go through the same router so the settings on the router are ok the firewall is set to allow PP so i am at a bit of a loss as to what to do.

Do you have two different PP licences?  One for the desktop and another for the laptop?

Yes one is free and is Sharecode z2 and the other i paid for and is Sharecode AH but comes up with User id dH when pressing the sharing status button.

Do any of the other options on the PP Help menu work?

For instance does "PlanePlotter homepage" go there?

Or from the Test Networking sub menu do "Check raw data out" , "Check raw data in", or "Check GS/MU functions" work?

All of those go to the COAA site like "Check sharing status" does so just testing that you can access COAA web site.
