Title: Modesmixer2 on Pi doesn't like negative longitude values
Post by: awitty on January 25, 2016, 04:28:39 PM

Hi

Not sure if this is a bug or i'm doing something wrong.

if i run the following command on my Rpi 2, any negative longitude values in the web output show as 00:0000

modesmixer2 --inConnect 192.168.2.4:30003 --outConnect beast:127.0.0.1:30104 --web 8090

if, however i run the exact same command using the windows implementation it works fine.

Help appreciated.

Hi awitty,

Please test this version of the program.
Use the one which is corresponding to OS that installed on your Raspberry Pi 2.

http://xdeco.org/?p=281 (http://xdeco.org/?p=281)

Do you receiving data through 30003 (--inConnect 192.168.2.4:30003) port from source with MSG format?

Hi all !

Same problem with one of our user. He has got a Pi 1 and latest modesmixer2 for Pi 1, and all negative longitudes are shown as '0'... This problem occurs only with modesmixer2, dump1090's map is ok.

Thanks a lot for your help !

Regards,

Nicolas.

Hi Nicolas,

Please test this version for Raspberry Pi, depending on which operating system is used:

Wheezy (Linux raspberrypi 4.1.19-v7+ #858 SMP Tue Mar 15 15:56:00 GMT 2016 armv7l GNU/Linux) - modesmixer2_rpi_20160119.tgz https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B7NYXizl0U6iY280VmU5WE9VTkU (https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B7NYXizl0U6iY280VmU5WE9VTkU)
Jessie (Linux raspberrypi 4.4.11-v7+ #888 SMP Mon May 23 20:10:33 BST 2016 armv7l GNU/Linux) - modesmixer2_rpi_jessie_20160119.tgz https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B7NYXizl0U6ic2ZENWNGdGh4MGs (https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B7NYXizl0U6ic2ZENWNGdGh4MGs)

Let us know if the problem will remain.

Other versions for RPi 2 and RPi3 have also been updated in #2 http://radarspotting.com/forum/index.php/topic,2978.msg15240.html#msg15240 (http://radarspotting.com/forum/index.php/topic,2978.msg15240.html#msg15240)
