I recently installed PP and I'm trying to configure the display to resemble the look I have in Basestation.
I copied all the .out files I had in BS and transferred them over to PP. So far so good.
I clicked on select all and hit ok. Found some unwanted clutter that I want to get rid of, but, since I'm not familiar yet with what is what, I started to deselect and hit ok in hopes of finding the correct outline that is loading and cluttering my display. However, it seems as if PP has a mind of its own and just loads everything. Is there other setting I should be looking for?
Or, is PP taking its sweet time on account that it's hogging resources and delaying the results I'm seeking?
The clutter in question looks like a lot of straight lines going in different direction, don't know what are these called and if anyone has a clue what I'm talking about, please drop a hint.
Thanks.
From memory, PP loads all the outlines in the referenced folder. But I don't use PP much so could be wrong. I'm sure someone else will comment more knowledgeably.
Can you post a screenshot of what you see?
QuotePP loads all the outlines in the referenced folder
I assumed that too but found that under Option/Chart/Outline there is an option to "Select Outline files to Plot".
But selecting "All" or "None" doesn't seem to have any effect - even tried restarting PP so looks like we need help here ;).I'm wrong. Selected just one to show, restarted PP and that worked, Selected "All", restarted PP and they were back.
Where do the waypoints, .wpt files go?
I have them on the chart files folder, then you have to select them on "options...chart...GPX overlay"
Thanks Breitling!

Hmm, tried that, no dice.
Don't they have to have .gpx in order to be usable?
