Title: VPN Client Router
Post by: Bethsalem on May 06, 2016, 09:05:43 AM
Does anyone have experience of using a VPN Client Router and PlanePlotter?

Will this kind of router allow Port Forwarding so I can continue as a Master User and Ground Station?

Thanks

Do you mean VPN over LAN, or do you use it for remote private connections?

I mean connecting the VPN Client Router to a Moviestar Modem and then connecting to the internet, streaming media, Planeplotter, emails etc., over wifi.

Ok, to access services not provided by Movistar (I think). Probably you can manage it, not sure if some kind of NAT remapping is needed.

Maybe this article can help you:  http://www.howtogeek.com/221889/connect-your-home-router-to-a-vpn-to-bypass-censorship-filtering-and-more/

Thanks for that link.

I've found a "Dodgy Dave" ex-pat who can hardwire any combination of internet related gubbins in return for a fistful of Euros, so job's a good 'un  :)
