Title: Photo's?
Post by: DutchmanII on February 01, 2012, 09:53:07 AM
Hi,

I used to collect photo's of aircraft with the help of Flightdisplay. Showing in the pop up screen. This function isn't supported anymore.

The SBS recourses then started to collect photo's. But i can't find anything new on this subject.
Whats the deal? and are there other means of collecting photo's?

The latest release of Flight Display will not collect photos for local storage.  But it will display them in the popup Aircraft Details window if you change the code in the Basestation.xsl file as follows:

<table width="197" >
<tr>
<td>
<img src="{//user/PictureURL1}" class="border" alt="Airliners.net" height="136" width="197" />
</td>
<td>
<img src="{//user/PictureURL2}" class="border" alt="Airliners.net" height="136" width="197" />
</td>
<td>
<img src="{//user/PictureURL3}" class="border" alt="Airliners.net" height="136" width="197" />
</td>
</tr>
</table>

You can also use MouseMode to show images too.  But they will be links to the websites and not stored locally.

As for the SBS-Resources photo project, I think it was abandoned.

Thanks for mentioning AD.  For the record AD Lite doesn't collect photos.

AD is also cool because it allows you to collect all photographs, or as I prefer, only photos of Military aircraft.
