Post by: mhm on May 05, 2012, 03:35:48 PM
A man has been arrested at Newquay Airport in Cornwall after allegedly telling security staff he was carrying arms and explosives.

Passengers were waiting to board a flight to London Gatwick when the incident happened just after 07:30 BST.

The 43-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of making a bomb hoax, under section 51 of the Criminal Law Act.

A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesman said no-one was at risk and the flight was only delayed for 10 minutes.

I can only imagine he's either got psychiatric problems, in which case, poor guy, I hope they go easy on him.

OR,

he was trying to be a smart *rse and then I hope he doesn't particularly enjoy his time in the stoney lonesome, especially if he ends up becoming some 25 stone monster's "girlfriend"  :-*
