Title: Using one RPi with two Prosticks
Post by: Nigel on May 29, 2017, 11:20:06 AM
I am currently using two Prosticks connected to separate antenna with two RPis. Does anyone know if it is possible just to use one RPi with two Prosticks. I'm not looking to combine the data, just to free up a RPi? If so, does anyone have any simple instructions as to how I might go about it?

Many thanks

Hi Nigel,

first of all: I do not know and searching flightaware's forum wasn't that helpfull.

I would connect both Sticks to one RPi and watching the data while only one Antenna is plugged in at a time.

It seems that one RPi can deal with more than one SDR, cos i found some Tutorials to use one RPi for ACARS and ADSB simultaneously.

It would help to know what you are going to use the outputs of the two Prosticks for.

Some software is able to identify each individual dongle and hence can separate the signals from each.
