Will FD 7 and Windows 10 talk to each other?
Regards-
G.B.
It should do, provided you use the correct version - 32 or 64 bit.
But FD is no longer supported or distributed.
Thanks for that- I have FD running on my other setup, Vista, is it possible to move/instal this program to the Windows 10 machine? Confirming that both operating systems are 32 bit.

G.B.
FD is an "install". You can't move an installed version from one PC to another.
But you can copy the downloaded Zip file from your Vista PC, then extract it to install on the Win 10 PC.
Thank you Mike.

Where do I unzip the folder to please?

Anywhere you choose. I'd create a new folder called FD and unzip it there.
FD up and running with a few buts!! Will have play with it before shouting help.
Ongoing hiccups with FD-
1] No routing /times etc details when you click on a flight, I vaguely remember that FD is deaf to alpha/numeric information but the info is still missing on `normal` call signs e.g. BAW38
2] On Flight Alert I currently have 1 each of Call sign/Mode S/Squawk all of which opens the Alert window ok, but if I add any further flight details, using commas for separation, it immediately goes into `partial match`mode and flags up every new contact irrespective.
Could the two be related?

G.B.
Hi Graham
I don't think they're related .
Routes - forget about it, the scripts are probably outdated and don't work anymore.
Alerts - have you checked the FD manual? It's online from within the app.
Thanks for that Mike,I will pursue your suggestion on the Alert issue.

I am pleased to report that FD7 Alerts are now functioning correctly, all I did was to purge and then re-enter all the details so presumably it was a false entry which was the problem. I am obliged to Mike C for his advice on this problem.
Secondly may I also thank Tim {Triple 7} for his assistance he offered me which has enabled me to have SBS-Populate installed and running. Historical records are of no interest to me so the edit function in this add-on is so useful.
I consider us `anoraks` who enjoy our chosen hobby to be very fortunate to be able to seek and find answers to all manner of problems freely offered from an extremely knowledgeable forum, thank you all.

Thank you for your kind words Graham. If the bit of knowledge I have gained along the way can help someone else, then I am very happy to oblige.
Tim
Thanks for helping Tim. It's much appreciated.
