Hello my friends,
I'de like to ask if had anyone have tried to receive ADS-B signals with this antenna :
https://www.ebay.com/itm/1pcs-ADS-B-PCB-Antenna-1090Mhz-antenna/263637935957?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649
It is look like "active diapason" antenna...
Thanks a lot
It appears to be of one principle
one version is an encapsuled ready to install antenna,
(price doubtful, $38 ? in one other page)
while the others are a naked PCB with connector.
All resemble a dipole where the center lead goes to the upper element
and the outer to the downpointing section.
NO indication of any active circuitry.
(some pics are misleading as twice showing the downpointing element)
I already bought it...
When i will have received the parcel(i must wait about a month) , i'll test it and tell you...
P.S. (The comparison will be made relative to Kinetic supplied magmount antenna & GP-1090 Wimo vertical antenna)
Thanks
Hi...i also used this antenna. I tested it with just place the antenna outside of the window, facing west direction. In my case, in front of the window is another block of residential houses, the performance is so so.
The range is not as good as 360° on top of the roof as it only place outside of the window.

Hello to all,
Sorry i'm posting a replying too late...i've installed the antenna since to December 2018 . I am sending the data to an SBS-1 MKI via usb and the coverage is very good , almost i'm recieving the same number of targets , altitudes and distances such as with the Wimo GP-1090 antenna that i was previously have used at the same position!
It was a very good and cheap purchase!
