Title: Operator Logo not working
Post by: John Roe on July 16, 2018, 01:27:52 AM
Hi Folks,

I have several Operator Logo's not working despite them being in the correct folder with others that do work, unless it is looking somewhere else ?
The Path is C/Kinetic/Basestation/Operator Logo's ..  is that the correct path.  they all with .bmp  file .

Cheers.

Hi John

When you say "not working" what do you mean?

Are they not displaying when you have an aircraft listed with the corresponding bmp file name in the OperatorFlagCode field? Such as BAW.bmp for BAW?

The folder name should be "OperatorFlags" in the same folder as the BaseStation.exe that's used to launch BaseStation.

Hi Anmer,

I do not know where Basestation.exe is located, in C/Kinetic/Basestation is Operator Logo's and Operator Logo's1 located, they both together in one folder, found Basestation not exe in a file called Kineticmike that you made,  and also Basestation-1-2-4-184-CDROM ,  no .exe found yet ? . cheers.

Sorry did not answer the question, it is not flags, they seem mostly ok, it is some overseas AC that are not always picked and display the operator's logo.

I made a remote connect to John's PC.  It was a buit tricky as the PC was slow and the screen resolution prevented me from navigating easily and editing data.

Basically, the issue is a mismatch between the Operator Flag Code data in the aircraft record and the bmp files in the OperatorFlags folder.

For example, John had an Operator Flag Code of "SA" for one aircraft but no "SA.bmp" file in the OperatorFlags folder.  Consequently no logo was displaying in the aircraft list.
