Thank you for help, regards Jo
Hi folks,
i just figured out how to show the rx-range on the map; wondering no one could tell me although its so simple.... . Almost 100 readers and not a single one had an idea.

Perhaps you could let us know how you did it?
There is a VRS User Manual:
http://www.virtualradarserver.co.uk/Documentation/Default.aspx
I think you gave the answer - read the manual!
Thank you!

I think you gave the answer - read the manual!
And you complain that no one helps you!
Maybe you should join the VRS forum.
Trying to maintain the helpful spirit of this forum, I think it might need a script as per the documentation here:
http://www.virtualradarserver.co.uk/Documentation/CustomContent/ChangeSettings.aspx
Under the 'Map Options' section.
Something like adding "polarPlotEnabled" to the sample script given, together with some of the other polarPlot options listed.
But as I don't use VRS I have no idea if the above is correct. Shame the OP decided to adopt an unhelpful attitude.

Came here to see if anyone knows why the VRS forums seem to be offline and saw this question and response.
From the radar screen (e.g. http://192.168.0.186:8080/VirtualRadar/desktop.html), select the Menu button in the top left corner and select Receiver Range. If you have more than one receiver providing data, select the one you want the polar plot for.
VRS allows you to select a polar plot for 4 altitude ranges or all altitudes:
All altitiudes
To 9999 ft
10000 ft to 19999 ft
20000 ft to 29999 ft
From 30000 ft
If you click on the ranges in descending order, you get overlaying polar plots.

Or All altitudes just shows one plot for everything
