Title: Air Frequencies
Post by: aviaction on November 12, 2018, 05:18:33 PM
I ma finding it increasingly difficult to find up to date frequency information.
The latest Books Seldec and Photavia are 2015.
Online doesn't produce much Jethros site is not up to date april 2018 on one part and 2012 for upper & lower airspace
KIMMYJS19 on CD looks best so far?
Mil doesn't appear to be a problem.

There used to be raf books every month with all the info in airfields etc that you could pick up cheap at Rallies.
cant even find recent versions of that.

Any ideas

You may find the Squawker utility meets your needs. There are a few YouTube videos about it here:

...and there is also a Facebook Group which contains more up-to-date info, if you use Facebook:

I have to agree on the lack of books now available, a few years ago there used to be a plethora of very good publications.

I use the NATS AIS website for updating civil frequencies. Frequency changes are listed in the 28 & 56 DAY 'AIP Amendment' circulars along with changes to Waypoints, routes, Squawk codes, facilities etc, you can also access the 'Aerodrome Index' which gives operational details including frequencies & Airfield maps for most UK airports. There are also several frequency cards, designed for GA users, covering the frequencies at the smaller airfields around the UK.
You will need to register with NATS to access some sections of the site though.

Military frequencies are another matter, I have updated a few of mine from details on sites like 'Fighter Control' but generally up to date information is now very hard to come by.

Hope this helps

You may dig into UK-NATS
http://www.nats-uk.ead-it.com/public/index.php%3Foption=com_content&task=blogcategory&id=6&Itemid=13.html
or
Netherlands
http://www.ais-netherlands.nl/aim/2018-10-25-AIRAC/html/index-en-GB.html
or the Mils
https://www.milais.org/cenor.php?c2V0bGFuZz1lbiZmcm1pZD0w

suggest you look for the AD Section finding Aerodrome listing in there.
Have fun browsing

Thanks I think i have most of those covered. Will look at the Sqauwker stuff
I was looking for Lower and upper UK and airfields.
Nats seems to have Airfields Covered and other groups cover mil adequately,

Ah just found this. Seems up to date.

Looked before and thought it was specific to UK RAF east bases, but if you scroll down it's all there.
