ModeSMixer & BDS4.4 MODE-S MRAR
« on: February 24, 2016, 11:11:20 AM »
Hi,

Is there possibility to get BDS4.4 (MODE-S MRAR) information presence using ie. ModeSMixer? I'am interested about these weather related messages and their possible availability in my area. I think they are been interrogated in very limited areas and also planes capable outputting that data is more limited comparing EHS data. Mostly from business jet sector.

ModesMixer has temperature/wind speed/wind dir information, but i'm not sure if is decoded from BDS4,4 or calculated....I asked sergsero, but no reply.
I'm also trying to implement this feature into dump1090, but i'm getting a lot of false-positive.
