Using VNC to access Radarbox on a remote PC and after a while the top menu freezes (File/Filter/Map/Tools, etc) and with time the next menu down freezes.

Freeze = the buttons don't respond.

Radarbox is still tracking aircraft but none of the options can be accessed.

Trouble is, this was a known problem with version 3.0 beta in 2009: http://www.airnavsystems.com/forum/index.php?topic=2958.msg27166#msg27166

and earlier in 2008: http://www.airnavsystems.com/forum/index.php?topic=1826.msg14612#msg14612.

I'm running version 4.03 and not seen any further mention so is there a fix?

Might have fixed my own problem. Previous effort was on XP which locked up overnight with 100% CPU use.

So tried Win7. Even quicker to freeze menus so desperate measure were going to be tried.

Went to uninstall VNC and noticed a "VNC Mirror Driver" was also installed. Just uninstalled that and we might have a solution. Need to try it for longer and also on XP.

PS Apologies for posting in "Hardware". Hadn't realised that there was also a Radarbox Software section  :-[

Now convinced that the VNC Mirror Driver was the culprit in making the Radarbox menus freeze.

Running all night on Win7 32 bit with no increase in CPU usage and no menu freezing.

On to the next project.
