Paul have really liked your tails for the USAF KC-135 fleet and wondered if you could add the following
117 ARW 106ARS Birmingham Alabama

126 ARW 108ARS Scott AFB Illinois

108 ARW 141 ARS  New Jersey ANG McGuire

Also could you do similar tails for the KC-46A's that are starting service. I am not sure who is operating them other than 22 ARW

Thanks in advance

Hello Mike,

I had already posted those but have posted them again in the usual place. I am using the Wing numbers rather than Squadron numbers, the 108 ARW although based at McGuire use the New Jersey tail flashes. I noticed this mentioned in my research and also in photos.
I also noticed mention of the KC-46A's but it may be a while before I look at those.
A very small number of the aircraft photos I looked at show a different wing number on the aircraft from the tail colours.

tHanks Paul,

Do appreciate these tails. Some of them aqrew confusing, especially ANG as they sometimes are under a main units wing but flying from a totally different airfield!

Best regards

Mike

I have posted 4 KC-46A Tankers, I understand that these four bases have received some KC46's.
The photographs I have found don't show any base markings on the Tail, but I have seen 2 black lines across the top of the tail on some of the Photos.
I have a huge number of KC135's and others in my SQB file, it will take me a while to add my logos to the appropriate aircraft.

Paul.

Paul,

Thank you for what you have done and I must say they have been what I wanted. When I put them into my datatabase I tend to record the name as the ARS number, if I know it, that is associated with  the ARW you have them labelled as. It works very well. They only KC-135's I have not using your logos are the !00 ARW/351ARS Mildenhall ones for which I use the "named" ones produsted by Peter (Mustang51).

Thank you again

Mike

I'm using Peter (Mustang51) 100ARW ones as well but don't tell him.

No I won't

Forgot to say thanks for the KC-46A flags.
