difference betwin rg cables

Yesterday Faramir bring me his old ads-b antenna. Now im looking for a short cable betwin de BC12 DC to my sbs-1e, BNC male to SMA make. Around 30cm 12inch i need.

In a radio shop here they did not have the connectors and the guy was not able to make a cable for me, he told me "Look at Aliexpress".

Now on Aliexpress is see a couple of cables with different codes: RG58, RG174 and RG316. On the antenna cable there is a 50ohm printed on. But all the aliexpress cables have 50ohm.

What is the best i can use? the BC12 is going to be put close to the sbs-1e.

You can get shorter lengths and different connectors.  The cable is so short, you don't need to worry about signal loss.

The pigtails have thin cable and are very flexible, like the third one in your list:

Anmer, i had sent a scanner / radio shop a email if they have the cable (before i order the one at aliexpress) today i got a email. I ask them for a 30cm cable with a BNC male and SMA male connector, that people have a shop and want to make some money oké but 65 euro ex taxes for a cable. This is the email:

We don't have such ready-made cables, but I could make one.

This with RG198 coax cable because an SMA cannot be soldered to an RG58, in addition, the RG198 is too thin for a BNC, but we can solve this by means of aluminum foil with which we thicken the outer jacket.

With a shrink tube around it, this will also look like a commercial cable.

If interested, I will make it for 65 Euro (ex. VAT)

I suspect RG 198 is similar to Ecoflex 15.  15mm diameter, low loss and expensive cable.

My plan is to make a wood board in corner of my computer room and fit the sbs-1 with L brackets and next to it the BC-12 and dont want to BC-12 to be close to my sbs-1, this due to the max length of antenna cable, so 30cm was the max what i would lik. Aliexpress is order 12inch rg316 cable

No worries, connecters are ordered for Aircell-7 BNC to SMA. Costs less than 10 euro's...
I'm dissapointed that my pigtale was modified. I think I owe you that pigtail so you have an operational set!
