Connecting sbs-1er to orbi router

Hi all
In the past i was able to connect my sbs to my laptop via my network through my virgin router. Some time ago i started using a netgear orbi RBR50 router and have never been able to connect using the network but can using a usb cable. Suspect its down to isp address or port number.
Has anyone been able to connect using an orbi or am i now left with only using usb.
All help appreciated.

The router is preconfigured to use private IP addresses on the LAN side and to act as
a DHCP server. The router's default LAN IP configuration is as follows:
LAN IP address. 192.168.1.1
Subnet mask. 255.255.255.0

If you previously had a router with 192.168.0.xxx you might have the SBS set to an address in that range.
You could try changing the subnet on your router to 255.255.0.0, that way it should be able to 'see' 192.168.0.xxx and 192.168.1.xxx IP addresses.
