Hello all!
Some recent trouble: Starting basestation app and showing not connected in app. But in front panel on SBS-3 it says- Session active.

Any ideas?

Welcome.

How do you connect to the SBS-3?

Ethernet cable or USB?

Hi there and thanks!
I connect with USB. When i close the basestation app, the "active session" light stays on..

Thanks for the reply.

Has anything changed recently?  Reinstall of BaseStation, new sqb file?

Does BaseStation launch OK?

Have you tried a different USB port and/or cable?

Hello and thanks again!
Yes, I´ve done all that. I suspect something happened during humid conditions to the box. Maybe this is a case for Moonraker..

What about the antenna?  Do you have any blue lights?

karlsmoen

Yep, 3 blue lights.

Maybe something wrong with the basestation app. I will check more after my workday.

Thanks,
Krister

Check the Basestation settings.  Is data source set to USB?

Yes, USB is on. Everything has worked fine for almost a year until recently. I can´t get the SDR radio on it to open either..

I have "Team Viewer" installed if You wanna take a look? :-)

Thanks for Your help.

... Or maybe I should try another software to see if it works?

I am happy to make a remote connection and take a look with you.

However Teamviewer has blocked my use of the free version and I cannot afford to pay for a licence.  The cheapest option is GBP £400 a year!

Instead I have RemotePC.

Just had a thought.

Maybe the USB drivers have been overwritten by a recent Windows update?

In your BaseStation folder there should be a file:

CDM20814_Setup.exe

Close BaseStation.

In Windows Explorer, double click the file to run it.  Then try Basestation again.

What version of Windows are you using?

I was just about to suggest the same solution   8)

Just to make absolutely certain:

Have the SBS plugged into a USB port
Open Device Manager (Use the "Type here to search" box on toolbar), if under USB controllers you are showing a couple of entries that start something like SBS-1 Beavis 3A with a yellow exclamation mark next to them then you can be certain that the FTDI drivers require re-installing.

So now:
Do NOT have Basestation running
Locate the CDM20814_Setup file in your active Basestation folder
Right click and Run as Administrator.

Launch Basestation - it should now work.
