Official changes of Hex codes

Yesterday I picked up TF-AMI a B744F of Air Atlanta Icelandic with hex code 4CC41A, this is already in my databse under hex 4CC3C9.
It is not being shown as a miscode so just wondered what the reason for swapping hexes could be.

I have also picked up TF-AMI but also TF-AMM 4CC4BD (4CC3EB), TF-AMP 4CC45A (4CC3D2) and TF-AMU 4CC481 (4CC3D9). It makes you wonder if they have changed owner but not operator or are changing for the sake of it.
