Got the setup using Zadig,Flightaware dongle and then modesdeco and this works really well with base station.
Got a new pc so thought it'd be easy to do the same, but something not going right.
First error message was the msvcr100.dll was missing. Thats now download and placed in the modesdeco folder but I now get the error message, "application unable to start correctly (0xc000007b).

If anyone can point me in the right direction I'd be extremely grateful.
Thx

Did you make a succesful install of Zadig on the new PC?

When do you see the error message?  When running ModeSDeco?

Zadig says installed correctly when I run with dongle plugged .
The error message appears when I open the batch file so I see the small black window but can get no further....

Thanks.

I failed to get ModeSDeco to run on my Windows 10 PC.  ModeSMixer runs fine.

Are you on the same version of Windows on both PCs?  And are they 32 or 64 bit?

They're both 64 bit machines, the first W10 pro and the new one W10 home.

Thanks.

This may help.  I received an email from a member who'd had problems getting ModeSDeco to work:

I am pleased to say that I have had some success with ModeSDeco today.
In fact I now have it running on my notebook and can see aircraft on the map.  The solution was to re-install two of the .dll files - this time I downloaded 32bit files and deleted the 64 bit files, even though my notebook is 64 bit.   This was something that I think Sergsero suggested in his earlier post in that very long thread (approx page 69).

I haven't done this on previous installs and don't know enough about pcs to be happy deleting files from the windows folder without a way to recover the situation. Could I remove the 64 bit files and save them elsewhere before installing the 32 bit files ?
I believe youre referring to the 2 files in the notes within the modesdeco folder ? Msvcp141.dll and msvcr141.dll ?
Very much appreciate the assistance.

Let me contact the member who resolved his problem and check what files he replaced.
