Hi
I`ve been using my SBS-1 without any problems since 2005,but just lately,my screen sometimes reduces to a few aircraft, all being close to my location.
To resolve this,I remove and replace the grey cable on my SBS box(the one with the orange tip),restart the program, and everything is back to normal.
This has happened several times over the last day or so,so I`m wondering if there`s a fault with the grey cable or the actual SBS box.I`d be interested to here if anyone else has had this problem, and if so,what they did to resolve it.Thanks in advance

Anmer

Are you referring to the USB cable from the SBS-1 to the PC?

Try using a different USB port on the PC or a new cable.

Hi,

Something else worth checking is the usb serial port(s)as they might need updating.

They can be found in device manager.

Just another thing to check besides the cables as Anmer has pointed out try a different port.

Sorry to hear that, i just went into device manager and did the update from there with no issues,
But i did close all open programmes before i did it.

Something to watch out for in the future. Thanks
