Good afternoon Anmer sorry for late reply...

Anmer

Thanks.  I suspect there lies your problem, too many files.

It's easy to check.

Close Basestation.

Rename the OperatorFlags folder to "OperatorFlagsOld"

Make a new folder OperatorFlags in the same directory, Basestation.

Restart Basestation and let it run for a while.  Any error messages?

Thanks Anmer will give it a try ,Before i do  what happens to the original files does that become obsolete?
will the new file mean i start from scratch.and i will have repopulate it

frazer macfadyen

Many thanks Anmer you were indeed correct , I renamed the file as you explained
so now i just need see how i can repopulate my previous operator flags

Anmer

20,000 bmp files is a lot and I've seen these error messages appear at around 10,000.

Try culling a few and maybe run BMPCHK in case there are some rogue ones in the folder.
