Has it ever been safe to fly in the Middle East? Not really as some type of conflict is always going on. Airlines that continue to run the gauntlet usually care about making money and less about their employees or passengers. Airline crews face a tough decision as to what they need to do while passengers decide themselves to take the chance. Myself, I'd continue to fly these routes as I feel the dangers in this region are usually high to start with. A tough decision for one to make.
