A dad who left his car parked at Manchester Airport returned from a family holiday to find it had been damaged in a crash.

Simon Sharratt, 42, travelled to Greece with his wife Cath and their two children – leaving his BMW 528i and its ignition keys with airport parking staff.

The airport offers a 'meet and greet' parking service, where holidaymakers drop off their car at the terminal and find it waiting for them on their return.
