Good to see Mike has given us another option to enjoy our pastime !! 

I'm using a PGR  combined with Plane Plotter and  an Icom PCR 1000.  My location is on high ground so I am fortunate in having 360 coverage, including BRS that I can both cover with the PGR and with the Icom on both VHF and UHF. 

I spend quite a lot of time abroad and, occasionally, take the PGR with me and have been able to share some interesting "finds" from some quite exotic places.  My work travel has stymied any chance of becoming an Mlat Base Station as I am just not here often enough.

You can be a Ground Station. You only need to provide raw data for 40% of the time to qualify for FREE Master User status.
