A plane was forced to turn around and land at Glasgow Airport because of a "technical fault".

The EasyJet flight, which was bound for Amsterdam, sent out the 7700 emergency squawk code minutes after take-off on Friday.

According to the flight operator, the crew reported a fault with the windscreen of the plane.

The Amsterdam-bound Airbus completed a loop of Glasgow before returning to the airport after it took off at around 10.10am.
