Generous readers raised more than £10,000 last year to preserve the iconic delta-wing aircraft which carried Britain's nuclear deterrent during the Cold War.

The charity Vulcan To The Sky has found a way of keeping it flying for two more years with a £400,000 project to make vital wing components.
