TIS-B decoding ?

Is it possible to decode TIS-B codes to a registration, or are they random ? Thanks for any help !

I think the answer is "highly unlikely".

I understand the "hex" codes are spurious.

Thanks Mike. That's what I was thinking. Looks like I will have to log flight numbers and look out for ACARS reports when I go the U.S in january.
