Basestation - E out of memory error

Dear All,
I'm sure there are people out there who have the computer knowledge to help a computer idiot.
When trying to do backup I get 'Eoutofmemory' error message. I've sent error report to Kinetic but haven't received a reply. Having just spent 6 weeks working in China I don't want to loose everything as getting new laptop next week.
Presently running windows 7 and a old SBS-1, basestaion and reporter were  downloaded via internet about 3 months ago

Description- EOutOfMemory is the exception class for unsuccessful attempts to allocate memory.
EOutOfMemory occurs when an application attempts to allocate dynamic memory, but there is not enough free memory in the system to meet the request. Memory for the EOutOfMemory exception is pre-allocated whenever an application starts and remains allocated as long as the application is running. Note: Never raise EOutOfMemory directly. Instead, call the global OutOfMemoryError procedure.


Looks like a memory related issue,..

Can be a stack problem caused by a corruption of the program code.

You can backup your Basestation.sql simply by copying to another folder/drive. Then re-install BaseStation.exe to see if it cures the problem.

Thanks for replies, no luck yet with back-up. My original database stopped backing up in 2009 and when I got a new laptop via work I used last complete backup from then with approx. 17000 aircraft, (when I shutdown old laptop for last time reporter had 45000 aircraft).
Back-up worked OK for about 2 weeks before error message appeared. Back-up seems to run OK until it comes to flights, then I get the message. I've deleted most locations so in theory there should not be many flight in the records. I don't use anything like PP.

There is always a manual back up of the SQB file and any others you reply on...

I copy mine to an external drive and Google cloud drive as double back up.. 

The just delete items on a selected basis, rather than take the chance.

Not sure what I've done but last night was able to do full back-up so with luck I will be able to restore to new laptop next week.
