Dear All,

Following on from my backup problems last week I now have new laptop and have downloaded software. When I try to connect to SBS-1 I get following message : ftd2xx.dll is missing from your computer. I only get the red power LED on the SBS-1. Was all working OK yesterday with old laptop. Presently in Hamburg and have a weekend trip to Vancouver (all work) so would like to get it working

Many thanks in advance

Steve

Did you do a fresh Basestation install on the laptop or copied the folders from the original PC?

I downloaded latest version from kinetic website.

I'm away at the moment but from memory there's a file in the Basestation folder called CDM something, an exe file.

Double click on this.

Anmer, many thank it worked, was going to curse out IT guy for giving me a laptop with USB slots that didn't work. Read your review on the Taylor made antenna, very useful as will be coming a home based worker soon. I use a cheap telescopic antenna from radio shack as mostly use the SBS when travelling.

Best regards

Steve
