Open Street Maps and PP

It appears that the PlanePlotter interface with Open Street Maps (OSM) is no longer working.

I was wondering why my Home Location test was placing me somewhere north of my actual location.

So no PP location testing nor downloading of OSM maps for the time bing.  Looks like it could be out of action for some time.

I do not know what PP is showing as error msg,
just rechecked to download map with SP and given coordinates (clb)
"Map image download failed"
apparently OSM is somehow down or the URL for access has been changed

Thanks for tracking down that announcement.

I think AirNav's ShipTrax also uses OSM.

Shame as the PP Home Location test was very useful.

My ShipTrax will no longer download new OSM maps as well. Wonder if the two programmes got their OSM maps from the same defunct source?

If you do a Network test again Mike, you should find a new map is now in place

That's a Google map - not an OSM one, obviously Bev has once again worked his magic.
