Is there something better?

You can make whatever you want. Others on this and other forums have.

I prefer the easy root, buy one ready made have it installed on roof by technical people and have no worries.
The last I bought from Taylormaderf are outside and have now battle 2 storm and have survived.

I get the same effect by having an 800m mountain behind me.  ;D

I have tested many directional antennas and the issue is as follows
You can null out an aircraft behind the Beam antenna that is the same height as the antenna but as soon as it rises above or goes below the radiating element of the antenna it becomes visible

What do you hope to achieve by using a beam antenna?

The huge problem is the Airport is some km away and i can see only planes who are hight enoth.

If something is blocking your view a beam will not see through it.
If you look at a Brick wall a Telescope is no help seeing what is the other side :) and a beam cannot bend signals

I sell many ADSB accessories and have tried many beams.

In fact If any one is close to an obstruction and UK based as long as they give a review of the findings I will send a beam out to them.
I only have one so first to email me with Forum Name and name and address  chris.taylor@taylormaderf.co.uk will get it with my compliments (UK mainland only unless you want to pay the carriage)

Regards

Without knowing your precise location, it may be that the aircraft are too low if you are trying to track them into an airport.

do you need my gps position?

Not yet, but in which direction are you "missing" aircraft and how far away?  And at what altitude are they?
