Hi all,

before I start thought it best to ask for some advice.

Want to move my current PP install from my XP box to Windows 7 box, but retain my current PP registration and code (xi)  Can someone detail how to do this please and anything I need to watch for.

Will be moving in total:

SBS3 Basestation, PlanePlotter and Active Display

Cheers

Hi Dave

You need to start again , register / authenticate etc.

You can copy your chart files over .

If a GS/MU you'll need to request activation on the new code .... finally once all that has been done  if you then contact me via the group I will see if I can reinstate your old code.

Hi Tim

We first used the registry key method some years ago when OS were a little less complex and varied...its worth a try , but unless everything on the new machine is exactly the same as on the donor machine , the key will fail.

Yes John, hence my emboldened comment in the link  ;D
