Repair of Swinburne/Sharp Airband Radio

I have got a Swinburne /Sharp conversion radio from the late 70s .Unfortunately the tuning cord has snapped anyone know of where i can get this repaired.It may be old but its a great little box and missed Regards Chimney

I had one do that years ago, i replaced the string with an elastic band, might work
