Something of interest to me is whether the 1090 Puck works with any of the USB/ethernet converters.

I have ethernet in much of my house via wifi, Homeplug AV, or cable so that would make connection to the loft or roof a lot easier than USB.

If anyone gets one working, can they advise the model of adapter.

Ian

PS I succeeded in getting a Radabox working over ethernet with an older Belkin USB/ethernet converter but with a bit of difficulty for Windows 7 (no updated drivers). So it is the adapter that is probably the critical part, not the Puck.

I have successfully used other USB ModeS receivers with my Silex SX-DS-3000WAN.  RadarBox, SBS-1, Beast etc

I have no reason to think the Puck won't work but I haven't tried it.

:o

Those seem to be about 50% the price of a Puck.

I was thinking of the budget end of the market, less than £10 on eBay.  ;)
