A new navdata.db3 database has been made available by AirNav:

But be aware that this will overwrite any changes made locally.

I have had my Radarbox for nearly two years and have never changed databases.  Is it 'easy' to do? When I say 'easy' I mean EASY!!

Try it?

Make a backup first and see how you get on using the database updater.  But beware that it overwrites your existing database including any local updates that you may have made since the last one.  It's not incremental and has no respect for your local data.

I'll do it here and see how I get on but I'm taking a backup first.

Updating the NavData.db3 is very easy.  Just let the updater do its thing, making sure you tell it where to find your RadarBox directory.

Just remember it replaces everything.

An example of why a new navdata.db3 comes with a Health Warning:

I have been updating my NavData.db3 file manually for close to 2 years now....I checked the latest update on a different computer and it doesn't have majority of codes I have collected myself and updated in the DB.  Is there a way to update my DB in such a way that my own data doesn't get over-written?

It's now nearly 3 months since the last database update.  These were supposed to be released once a month.

I wonder why there hasn't been one for so long?
