Michael Schumacher airlifted to hospital with serious head injuries

Racing driver Michael Schumacher has been seriously injured after hitting his head on a rock while skiing off piste. The 44-year-old was with his 14-year-old son, Mick, in the French Alps resort of Meribel when he fell over at 11.07 morning. He was immediately airlifted to hospital where he is being treated for a 'serious' head injury.
