Hmm c'mon John, you're the resident expert.....

It's actually

Options>>Mode-S receiver>>Kinetic SBS family>>SBS3-Direct address

Then as you have it

Type in     127.0.01:30006

;D

Tim

Problem, if I do it as that Tim, even with the correct 127.0.0.1:30006 it turns all my plots off

If I do it Satcoms way, I keep my plots but now have the decending flight levels

Getting more confused

Nige

Isn't that what you wanted Nige ?

If in doubt its all in the wiki

faithle55

Thanks for all you help this evening. Its behaving better than before, got a few more things to sort out like correct plane symbols on screen and in the planeplotter lists. Sadly playing around with files is not my strength.

Its quite a learning curve Nige , but then the software provides just about everything you need...and more

Take things slowly and gradually build it up to your specific taste...and don't forget that  there is also the PlanePlotter Yahoo group with a files section , plus the Online Help via the Help tag in the software...plus Nic Storey's great  tutorial videos

Can you please show me where under Options>>Sharing>>Set-up (per your instructions) there is an option to enter an IP address, as it isn't on my screen and never has been. Hence I corrected your post to show Options>>Mode-S receiver>> etc etc.
