Has anybody got a screen shot of the "Input/output settings" table on planeplotter ?

Not to sure if I have all the right box's ticked. I am running a SBS-3 24/7 and sharing to PP via good internet. Picking a lot of MLATs up myself if I do the manual MLAT but not showing much unless in do it myself :(

Any help would be good

Hi Nige

Make sure you've ticked "download positionless data" in "Sharing".

Thankyou Stephen, was a couple of boxes I hadnt had ticked, hopefully that will help :)

the only other one I am not to sure about is in the drop down box, if I need to highlight the
SBS1/RBv3 TCP
or
SBS1/3 direct TCP

Nige

satcom

SBS1/3 direct TCP will give you all the extra features that Basestation doesn't provide
make sure that you also allocate the port 127.0.0.1:30006

BTW there have been 70,000 mlat fixes so far today over the UK

faithle55

Just stuck it on the SBS1/3 direct and have no RAW data out, so is that because I also need to allocate that port, already done the other UDP/IP local port to 9742

Anmer

Have you set port forwarding for 9742 in your router?

faithle55

Yep, port forwarded 9742 to the computer and have fixed a static IP address to the one running PP

Anmer

In I/O Settings have you checked "Allow Auto Mlats" and "RAW data for Mlats"?

satcom

In options sharing setup
Mode S receiver
Kinetic family
SBS3 Direct IP address

Type in     127.0.01:30006

OK that stop and start PP

You should now see[on local a/c ]

Cleared to alt
Upper air temp / pressure
Wind rose/direction vectors
etc

Hmm c'mon John, you're the resident expert.....

It's actually

Options>>Mode-S receiver>>Kinetic SBS family>>SBS3-Direct address

Then as you have it

Type in     127.0.01:30006

;D

Tim
SBS-1eR, FA ProStick + 1090 filter

Anmer

Surely it's

127.0.0.1:30006

Not 127.0.01:30006

Triple7

Problem, if I do it as that Tim, even with the correct 127.0.0.1:30006 it turns all my plots off

If I do it Satcoms way, I keep my plots but now have the decending flight levels

Getting more confused
