Football World Cup 2014 Competition - Group Stages

The World Cup 2014 Group Stages is our "warm up" before we move onto the main competition which starts on 27th June.

For those who don't know the Group Stages matches

For the warm up there will be a prize for the person with the highest score.

For a correct score 5 points are awarded.  A correct result but wrong score = 2 points.

A correct result is an incorrect score but predicts the winning team.

If there's a draw, we will pick the winner from the proverbial hat.  My decision is final.

Just submit your predictions for each match by posting in this thread.  Predictions must be submitted before the start of the match.  To see how it worked before, just visit the Euro 2012 Phase 1 thread here.

The prize for this phase will be a Taylor Made RF ADSB Mini Whip Mk2 antenna.

From what I've heard, this is a great little antenna for mobile use, being only 68mm tall with a magnetic base.  Unobtrusive and light (1Kg), just the job if you're out and about or travelling overseas.  It comes with 2.3 metres of RG174 coax with an SMA connecter and an SMA-BNC adapter for use with the SBS-1.

Radarspotting funds all the prizes with support from suppliers who provide them at cost.  So my thanks to Chris Taylor for the antenna discount.

For the main competition there will be at least three prizes including a top-end Mode-S receiver and external antenna worth over Euros 700.  More details when the main competition starts on 27th June.
