Google Launches Delivery Drones In Video

[Triple7]

Google's secretive research laboratory has built a fleet of drones designed to bypass earthbound traffic and speed up parcel deliveries.

A video released by the firm shows the ambitious scheme in practice, with a farmer in Australia receiving a packet of dog treats carried by one of the self-flying vehicles.

It's loosely connected to aviation I suppose.

Not so loose. Here in Spain all drone regulations and activity will be supervised by our Civil Aeronautic Administration. If it flies in the same airspace than manned aircrafts, it is aviation.

Thanks Tim.

A bag of dog treats $1; delivery by drone $50.
