That is exactly the way I go about IDing any planes not plotting on my SBS and Not giving a reg but plotting on F24 Raadar, simple case of cross reference.
I also use the hex code that sometimes shows in the info box in F24 Radar and then check it in Airfames.org for details of Reg and Frame.
