From Bev at COAA:

Hi,

If you have a version-specific firewall (eg Zone Alarm), you may have to reassure it that the new version is permitted to access the Internet.

Be aware that some security systems treat any new file as a threat without any justification except that it is new. Please don't write to me about it; write to your security system provider.

Nic Storey has kindly created one of his invaluable tutorial videos at
http://nicstorey.co.uk/planeplotter/Upgrading_PlanePlotter
If you find updating to be daunting, watch Nic's tutorial.
-----------

New in version 6.4.3.3

k accelerator key corrected

There was a bug in the "k" accelerator key which is now fixed.

Option to omit target altitude

In Options..Chart..Options, there is now a tick box to hide the target/cleared altitude.

Automated Lookup

I have corrected the automated lookup to adapt PlanePlotter to the current format of the airframes.org pages.
It now works correctly for me although some test users report continuing problems. These may be related to security settings on their machines.

Airspy support

This version has a new receiver option for the new AirSpy/ADBSspy receiver. It supports operation of the AirSpy/ADSBspy as a Ground Station for multilateration although you may need a version update from Youssef to generate the raw data time tags for this function.

hello tried to download planplotter from web site it says it is an unsafe download and then does nothing

Keef

Are you sure you are the right site?

http://www.coaa.co.uk/planeplotter.htm

This is where you need to go, I've just downloaded it with no problems.

Maybe your anti-virus software is getting in the way, if so it is okay to allow coaa.co.uk through your filter.

Anmer

I've just downloaded it without any warnings.

Can you post a screenshot of the warning message?
