New in version 6.4.3.4

New installation package

Nic Storey has made a number of improvements to the installer. In particular, if it is a first time installation, the installer allows for graphic entry of the Home Location, which used to cause some initiates a problem. It also detects if you have left PlanePlotter running while installing the new version, and advises you accordingly.

SBS3 raw data improved

The raw data time tag for SBS3 data has been rationalized to reduce the volume of data uploaded and to facilitate checking.

SBS1 log file reading option removed

Under Options..I/O settings, the log file reading, which has long been an obsolescent feature, has been withdrawn.

Correct title bar display for dump1090-PC

The title bar showed the wrong message for dump1090 input. That is now fixed.

Fix getting stuck in rapid fire Mlats

Rapid fire Mlats, after a failure of an initial manual Mlat, are now fixed.

Check for other Mode-S apps running on the machine

To help us to diagnose problems arising from supplementary apps processing and perhaps corrupting the receiver data, this installation detects some other Mode-S apps.

Range from Home

This version adds another option to the labelling of aircraft symbols, which displays the range (in nautical miles) from the specified home location. The label says "nm" but for the pedant, this is not nanometres.

Check for odd time tags

Some configurations generate odd time tags and this version detects that situation and ignores the data.

Enjoy !
